Growth and change are always challenging for us.

Our habits are so strong, how can we see ourselves anew? Some softening of those habits is essential. This softening, combined with clarifying what our habits actually are, is our focus during this day-long training.

Our time together includes teaching, meditation, conversation, and practices of discovery. The retreat is relevant whether you live in your own spirituality or you wish to enhance your immersion in your chosen faith tradition. It is open and welcoming to all and will be taught using common conventional language.

For those new to the world of meditation and personal or spiritual cultivation, we will introduce you to nonsectarian and accessible practices that invite a more open, relaxed dimension of experience.

For those of you familiar with spiritual practices, we offer specific guidance that can open new awareness of your experience.

What we find when we relax, look afresh, is often surprising, and that surprise helps wake us up to new possibilities.

There is palpable immediacy to this spiritual endeavor. Such seeing can change our lives. This form of discovery is new to our repertoire of teaching at Dawn Mountain. We have personally found it meaningful and are therefore eager to share it with students, old and new.

This course comes from Anne Klein’s more than ten years of exploration and training in bringing spiritual enhancement to a wider audience as well as Harvey Aronson’s decades of experience in fresh seeing through self-inquiry. The retreat is open to all and highly recommended for anyone who identifies as spiritual or religious.
